Righteous Anger
I'm righteously angry right now. My roommates and I used the Jr. class meeting decorations to decorate our door (hey, they were going to be thrown away). We put up "The Dating Game" poster. It fit cutely - it is the month of Feb. after all. So what does some fool do? She writes on the poster, "Tranvestites are NOT wanted."I could think the best of them. They wrote it in pencil and they probably were joking. "haha." I'm not laughing. I say that is not the way "godly" ladies should be spending their time while at BIBLE college no less. It's something I could erase, but before I do, I put up a note that hopefully the idiot will read. It is the following:
Dear ruiner of other people's property:
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.
-Proverbs 9:13

I too took one of the decorations that Autumn took so much time making and hung it on my door. Sorry that your's was vandelized in the way that it was. You have a right to be upset at someone else's transgression.
Sorry, I declined the offer of a felt heart for my door, but the "joke" on yours is still saddening. I can't say I'm surprised—we have our share of stupid "humor" on guy's side of campus, but it's still frustrating.
Nice comeback! I am glad you used Scripture to counteract a problem. :-)
