Multi-tasking

I LOVE computers. Yeah, they are often slow, idiotic, and just plain stupid when you have a deadline, but right now, I'm rejoicing in blessing of them. You see, I am a cheapo. I go for the bargins, you know? Well, I e-mailed out a list of books I need this semester to classmates. I didn't even have to leave my computer, and a friend walked up to me and told me she had one the the books I needed. Isn't technology wonderful?!?!? Here I was, e-mailing a list, making my calender out for the semester, instant-messaging my boyfriend, and getting an answer to prayer - all at one time!!

(I'm multitasking in the picture - if you examine close, you'll see I'm talking on the phone, playing with a hoola hoop, and noodling.)

WARNING! Further reading may hurt the more delicate readers

Well, it's that time of year again. It's vacation, the sun is out, I'm working, and I have a stye.
"A stye?" you may ask.
Yes, a stye.
"Where is your stye?"
My stye is in my eye.
"How long have you had this stye?"
Two months, I cry.

I almost put a picture of one up, but I squirmed while looking at it. They really are gross. You can find a picture by looking on google if you more inquirative (SP?) minds are reading this.

I'm going to a doctor today who can maybe cut it off if she so desires. I'm not sure what I desire more....waiting out the stye, or having someone go at it with metal shards.

Back to Reality

Hi dear friends and nonfriends and strangers! I am back to beloved Wisconsin. I believe I'm camp'ed out. After 8 weeks of working camps across the country, I went with my own personal home-grown family to Family Camp at Northland. That was a refreshing week; I was able to see some friends, relax, and spend quality time with my family. Another treat was that Tim was able to be up there as well. It was nice having a few days together before the bedlam of school begins. He's starting his second year of dorm supervising and will be taking grad classes. I'll be an RA in Hilson and finishing up my Senior year with student teaching in the Spring.

How can you recap a summer in one paragraph? In one post even? The Lord helped me journal a good part of the summer. My feeble mind has already forgotten a lot of what the Lord did, but God was good.

Emily (my sis) is coming to school with me. I'm happy for her. We will be doing some shopping together, I'm sure. I'm excited about decorating my OWN room&bathroom! My goal is to incorporate cheap ($) and classy. I think the two should meet together more often, don't you?

WELL, I hope all you people have a wonderful time before school starts. I get to watch my little niece Kara tomorrow, so I'm off to bed. Toodles! (That's a dumb word to say, but it looks so fun!)
